  • Fabrics - coordinating exterior and lining fabrics in beautiful, eye-catching designs.
  • Pattern - by Sew Sofia, or my pattern designer friends, either digital or printed.
  • Any Bag hardware - e.g. magnetic snaps, strap hardware for that month's project
  • Video - an existing tutorial or a sew-along perfect for the visual learner
  • a Notion - a useful sewing related item, e.g. piping cord, marking tool, webbing, zippers.

I'm Louise, the founder, bag maker and pattern designer behind Sew Sofia. I created the Busy Bagmaker for anyone who shares my passion for sewing bags. I'm here to give you that friendly reminder to set aside time for yourself, tap into your creative side and get that sewing machine whirring again!  

Everything that goes into the box is handpicked by me, saving you precious time looking for all the supplies to get started straight away on a new project!

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in each box?

Each box will contain a pattern , fabrics to make the pattern, bag hardware, interfacings, a sewing notion and a treat. Note, the pattern may be digital or a printed pattern.

When will my box be delivered?

This is a bi-monthly subscription and boxes will be sent six times a year, so you will receive one box every two months. Boxes will be dispatched on or around the first week of October, December, February, April, June, August.

Can I buy a box without subscribing?

Every two months, a set number of boxes are reserved exclusively for Busy Bagmaker members. If there are any extra boxes from a particular month, these will be made available to purchase later on as one-off Project Box Kits. There is however no guarantee that this will be the case every time a new box is released.

How will I be billed?

When you place your order, you will be charged for your first box straight away. After that, you will be charged on the 28th of the month before the next box is due for release. So for the December/January box, you will be charged on the 28th November.

Can I return my box or get a refund?

The Busy Bagmaker box includes a digital pattern + pre-cut fabrics and is therefore not returnable. You can however pause or cancel your subscription at any time. Please refer to my Subscription Policy for full details.
